This is an area that I believe

is a strength of mine. As in
most cases with the students I
teach, I am the very first male
teacher they have had in 8
years of formal education.
Being a consistent model of
professionalism to my students
is something I have been
spotlighted for in how I
interact with students, parents
and colleagues. I set a high
standard for behavior, in line
with the student handbook, and
coach students along according
to that set standard. How I
construct comments for SLAs
has been used a model for
others to emulate. How I dress
is consistent with the
requirements for students. As
the accountability partner for
our student code of conduct,
students understand how I will
address their nonconformance to
the standard and correct their
actions before I even say
anything. 9/18/2021
