OUR PROPOSAL
UJF Team 2023 The University of the Philippines – Diliman is the nation’s

largest constituent university, flagship campus, and serves as
ROLANDO DELOS the administrative seat of the University of the Philippines
REYES II, RGC System. It offers numerous and diverse sets of undergraduate
Chairperson and and graduate degree programs – churning out 4,000 to 5,000
Guidance Services graduates to the workforce yearly.
Specialist

As the premier state university of the country, the University of
DR. JOEL JAVINIAR, the Philippines takes pride in being a part of the growth of
RGC each of its students. Thus, this 2023, in ensuring that its
Director, OCG students are provided with holistic and high quality

opportunities, the university, represented by the UP Office of
CIENEILO Counseling and Guidance, together with its partner student
MENGULLO organizations, officially introduce the biggest, student-driven
Overall Head annual interdisciplinary career fair, the University Job Fair

2023, to be held this March 20-24, 2023 at the Mess Hall, 2/F

UP OFFICE OF COUNSELING
AND GUIDANCE
The Office of Counseling and Guidance (OCG) is a support

service to the academic programs of the University. It is
one of the offices of the Vice Chancellor for Student
Affairs (OVCSA). OCG’s two main professional services are
counseling and psychological assessment. OCG upholds a
strong commitment to the holistic development of
students toward honor, excellence, leadership, values, and
services.
UNIVERSITY STUDENT COUNCIL
The University Student Council (USC) stands as the highest

representative institution of students of the University of
the Philippines Diliman. The USC represents the students
within and outside the university and has a proud and
historic tradition of active involvement in the struggle to
defend the rights and interests of the students and the
Filipino people.

UP JUNIOR PHILIPPINE
INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANTS
The UP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UP

JPIA) is the premier business and accountancy
organization of the University of the Philippines Diliman
and is one of the country’s most awarded student
organizations. UP JPIA strives to hone its members into
great prospects by providing them an avenue for
leadership, innovation, and critical thinking through its
programs.
UNIVERSITY STUDENT COUNCIL
The UP Advertising Core (UP AdCore) is the premier

student-run, non-profit organization, and advertising
agency in the University of the Philippines Diliman. It is a
university-wide organization based in the Cesar E.A. Virata
School of Business with members coming from various
disciplines, mainly from the Fields of Business
Administration, Mass Communication, and Fine Arts.

The University Job Fair (UJF) is the biggest and most-awaited career
fair in the University of the Philippines Diliman. As the official university-
wide career fair, UJF fulfills its purpose of bridging students across
different colleges to a wide and diverse range of career job opportunities
tailored to their equally diverse fields of specialization through various
events, such as career primers, career talks, workshops, and a five-day
on the ground job fair. This year, UJF 2023 aims to provide companies
with excellent graduates who are willing to give back to the Filipino
people and seeks to aid students as they traverse the world of
opportunities after college—be it through internships or careers.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS
MARCH 20-25

University Job Fair is the biggest career fair
in the University of the Philippines Diliman
(UPD). The annual University Job Fair will
serve as the culmination of month-long
programs and activities aimed to help
students prepare and explore
MARCH 6-13 opportunities. It will house various
companies and institutions coming from a
CAPACITY BUILDING wide array of work options and sectors.
The capacity building aims to equip

students with skills they will need in
exploring their career opportunities. This
includes topics about balancing life and
other priorities, and utilizing social media
trends for career building. The capacity MARCH 10
buildings will be done for two
consecutive Mondays before the job fair. MOCK INTERVIEW

EDUCATIONAL DISCUSSION
This will be an online discussion that will
highlight the campaign and advocacies that
students should ensure to find in the
career workplace they will find. This will
include topics such as contractualization,

workplaces. This will be done on two
CAREER TALKS consecutive Wednesdays before the job

fair.
These are talks held with our company

partners. The goal of this is to partake
with students the inspiring journey,
messages, and challenges faced by some
of the successful people in their career
paths. This is also to impart learnings
