FOREWORD
Praise be to the presence of Allah SWT, who has bestowed His Grace and guidance,
which has given me many opportunities so that I can complete this report properly. Sholawat
and greetings to the lover of Allah swt, the king of Rasulullah SAW and his family and
friends who have been willing to sacrifice body and soul in fighting for the Islamic faith
This report was prepared to complete the exam requirements, in compiling this report I
am fully aware that the completion of this report cannot be separated from the support and
guidance of my teacher Lenny Windarti the refore I would like to express my gratitude.
The preparation of this report is prepared as well as possible but there are still deficiencies
in the preparation of this report, therefore suggestions and constructive criticism from all
parties, do not forget my hope that this report can be useful for readers and can add to my
knowledge.

INTRODUCTION
1. BACKGROUND
When assembling an electronic device, of course we will need some useful work
equipment to help us in assembling the electronic device. The electronic equipment that
will be discussed here is work equipment that is commonly used by electronics hobbyists
and mass production.
The difference between the assembly activities carried out by the electronics hobbyist
and the mass production of electronics can be seen from the speed and number of
products that were successfully assembled.
The work equipment needed in the mass production process is of course work
equipment that can move at a much higher speed than the equipment commonly used by
electronics hobbyists.
Apart from having high speed, work equipment used in mass production processes
must also be able to meet certain standards. This is intended so that the resulting
electronic products can later be in accordance with predetermined specifications.
Hobbyists of electronics will usually use simple work equipment which is usually only
driven manually by human power. While in mass production requires work equipment
driven by electricity or wind.
BAB II
DISCUSSION
Electronic work equipment itself has many kinds, whether it is used by electronics
hobbyists or mass production. The various types of work equipment are as follows.
1) Solder
Soldering is one of the tools commonly used to perform soldering on the
terminals (legs) of electronic components so that they will blend with the circuit
board (PCB) using tin or what is commonly referred to as the soldering process.
There are 2 types of solder that we can find on the market, namely solder with
a fixed temperature and solder with a temperature that can be adjusted as desired.
For mass production, you will usually use a solder whose temperature can be
adjusted.
2) Screwdriver
Screwdriver is a tool that is useful for tightening and loosening bolts (screws).
The process of tightening or loosening these bolts is called screwing.
Screwdrivers are divided into 3 types based on the driving force. The types of
screwdriver are as follows:
• Manual Screwdriver (manual screwdriver): Is a screwdriver that is driven by
human power, where the method of use is to turn the screwdriver clockwise or
vice versa to tighten or loosen the bolt.
6
• Solder Wick
6) Multimeter
A multimeter is a measuring device used to determine the size of electric
voltage, resistance and electric current. In its development, it can be used to
measure temperature, frequency, and others.
7) Cutter
Used to cut, strip wires, to scrape the feet of components to be soldered.
8) Solder Tin
The second tool that is no less important is tin. It is impossible for you to solder
electronic components without a lead. Tin serves to unite electronic components
with the PCB board.
9) Solder Paste
Solder paste is a chemical that serves to facilitate the soldering process. Solder
paste can make tin liquid and runny faster so it's easy to use during the soldering
process.
10) Cable
Cable is a material used to connect electronic circuits. Cables come in various
types and sizes. So you have to choose a cable according to your needs.
11) PCB (Printed Circuit Board )
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is a place to place electronic components based
on circuit paths or schemes. PCB itself or 2 types, namely perforated PCB and
plain PCB.
a For perforated PCBs, you have to connect the paths between components
yourself using cables.
b As for plain PCBs, you have to print a path to the PCB then dissolve the copper.
12) Thinner
The thinner referred to here is the thinner for paint mixture raw materials. Here
the thinner functions to clean the PCB from dirt that appears during the soldering
process. By cleaning up the soldering mess, we can reduce the possibility of a
short circuit in our circuit.

CLOSING
1. CONCLUSION
Every electronic device is an object made with electronic techniques and each
electronic object has a different function, several types of work equipment are used to
assemble electronic devices, whether used by hobbyists or mass production.
