Plato is the philosopher who best describes me. Plato defined the soul as having three parts: intellectual,
spirited, and appetitive. This ideology defines and characterizes me as a person and a student. Being a
student requires you to be strong and brave enough to handle the obstacles of student life. You must
prepare your mind or brain for the task and lesson, as well as the decision and challenge that you will
confront. Your heart or spirit for the new emotional war that you must win, and your appetitive soul for
the desire that you want. We need to balance these three components of the soul so that we can half a
perfect balance of the soul. This will lead to the harmonization and happiness of the soul, creating a good
and just person.
