Inspection Organized Inspection Strategy

All,

For the Inspection - Cadets that will drill for the inspection will be HAND SELECTED by myself
and 1stSgt Hood. I will personally select the LE-I cadets and 1stSgt Hood will select the LE-II and
LE III cadets. Every student will continue to drill each class during the preparation period. So,
don’t think that you are off the hook or that you don’t have to put forth any effort. You are still
required to be present for the inspection as well as stand the uniform and knowledge
inspection! These students will be selected based on their drill performance thus far, attitude
towards drill and other factors. Those of you who have shown nothing but attitudes and
indifference towards drill or as if you don’t want to perform or be involved, you can sit back and
watch on the day of the inspection, while these hand selected cadets represent the program
AND earn YOUR grade!

For those students who will be hand selected, there will be a couple of Saturday and/or Sunday
drill sessions offered to come in and work on the drill routine for the inspection. This will give
everyone an opportunity to drill together as a team since you are all from different classes.
We will work hard for about two hours on those days. Refreshments will be provided as well as
lunch.

Once the list comes out of who has been selected, please indicate if you want to represent the
program via the drill performance or not. If you do not wish to drill, you will be replaced with
another cadet. If you are not selected and feel you should have been, then please bring that to
our attention for consideration. Once again, EVERYONE is still required to be present to stand
the uniform and knowledge inspection!
