Name of the project idea: Interactive training for grade 8-9 – subject of choice integrated
science.

This idea is meant to give visual aid to learning science by the pupils in an interactive manner
This project if successful can open doors to a new way of learning in junior secondary
schools. The idea can be used for more subjects other than science. If pursued further an
advanced version can be developed to cater for the higher grades to help them understand
certain concepts by the use of animated clips to help explain.
The choice of starting with grade 8-9 is to help pupils harmonise with the introduction of
computer studies, this will help them make good use of the computes and at the same time
learn science. By doing this project and promoting it, a lot of pupils can benefit from
understanding the science concepts as well as interacting with the computers.
The software is aimed at both teachers and pupils. Teachers can use it to help explain
concepts in an animated way.
The project will include the use of animated flash videos, still images, texts and other
resources to make points as clearly as possible.
It will also include navigation controls and a few questions at the end of each lesson.
The project will be pc based and hopefully someone can take it to mobile devices.

2. Adobe illustrator
3. Photoshop / Corel draw
4. Visual studio
5. Crystal reports
The project will be done in 2D animation.
