The woman's sensual body language and facial expression convey sexual innuendos. She
takes a bite of an apple and smiles seductively with her finger in her lips. The woman in the image
directs her gaze at the viewer. This increases attention to the advertisement by giving the viewer the
impression that they are the only ones being monitored and targeted. In order to catch the reader's
attention, the perfume's name is also written in capital, bold, and vibrant green characters. Since Be
Delicious has an apple fragrance, there are fresh, juicy apples all around the woman in the
advertisement. In order to capture the women's attention and inspire them to "be delicious" like them,
the apples are prepared to look appealing. The fragrance bottle, which is likewise fashioned like an
apple, is positioned among the apples. Given that this is a novel and distinctive design for a bottle,
advertisements for this product successfully draw viewers' attention to them and pique their interest in
the goods.
The commercial focuses on women's perceptions of what a beautiful woman should look like.
The slim, flawless-skinned woman in the poster is meant to represent the pinnacle of beauty. The
secondary message of the Be Delicious perfume advertising is that the product will enable women to
be as attractive as the woman and to live up to the ideal of beauty it has established. The Be Delicious
perfume advertisement is successful because it makes good on its promise to gratify women's need to
stand out and be unique. To persuade viewers to buy their product, DKNY uses apples as a symbol of
temptation in this advertising. The first humans, according to the Bible, Adam and Eve, gave apples
this sign when they ate an enticing and scrumptious apple despite the fact that doing so was wrong.
Since then, Greek mythology and stories have given apples a deeper significance. The fruits in this
advertising also stand in for temptation. The apples appear crisp and juicy, luring the spectator in with
their enticement. Like the apples in the poster, the woman has humidity on her as well. This indicates
that she became as delectable and seductive as apples after wearing the perfume. Women are given
the impression that they will be just as desirable as the apples and the woman once they have used the
scent. As a result, the advertising is effective because it gives the apples a deeper significance.
In order to persuade the public to purchase the Be Delicious perfume, DKNY employs
techniques such sexual connotations and attention-grabbing pictures, a guarantee that the purchaser
will be unique, and the creation of a beautiful image. These techniques work well because they evoke
strong feelings in viewers, draw attention to the Be Delicious perfume advertising among others, and
make women feel confident and gorgeous.
