TILING WORK GENERAL: MATERIALS: A. Tiles B. Adhesive C. Grout TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: A. Grinder EXECUTION: 1. The area of substrate to be tiled shall be brushed clean. 2. Provide temporary but rigid lumber for guide/reference to check alignment. 3. Setting out shall be done by the worker approved by the contractor, provide symmetry about center lines of the space or area to minimize tile cutting. 4. Tiling should be started from the start point as fixed on the approved shop drawings. 5. Apply tile adhesive to the floor with the required thickness 6. The tiles shall be neatly cut before laying 7. When the installation has hardened sufficiently (after 24 hours) a thick grout of cement mixed with a minimum amount of water shall be prepared and brushed over the floor until all the joints are thoroughly filled.
