INTERNATIONAL WINTER PAINTING COMPETITION

Dear Parents,

The GEMA is conducting an “International Winter Painting Competition” for the Academic
Year 2022-23 .

▪ Eligibility : 1 to 5 Classes

▪ Entry fee : Rs 300/- only

▪ Interested students can participate in this competition.

▪ There will be a Trophy, Prize and Certificate for First, Second, and Third Prize Winner

in each group. 5 Appreciation Prizes will be given in each group. Every participant will

get a Participation Certificate.

▪The painting must be Original, Creative and relevant to the contest theme. Copying and

colouring pre-printed drawing is not acceptable.

▪ Participants will have to share 2 images to their respective Class teachers through

WhatsApp with Full Name, Class/Sec, Father’s Name, Email Id and Phone no.

▪ After sharing the images through WhatsApp, participants will have to submit the hard copy

of that painting along with entry fee to their Class Teachers. Write the Full Name, Class

and Section in Capital letters on the Top of the Painting using Black Marker.

▪ Last date of submission : On or before 05-01-2023

▪ Result will be declared in the month of April/May 2023.

Grade 1 & 2: ‘Christmas’ Grade 3 to 5: ‘Winter Season’

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

▪ Do the painting as per the theme.

▪ Send 2 pictures through WhatsApp to your ward’s Class teacher, One clear picture

of the painting alone and second clear picture of your ward holding the painting in

his/her hand, Landscape format as you can see in the image below.

▪ Only 1 Painting per participant.

▪ If the participant wish to write a few words to explain his/her creation, it can be written
on the picture.

▪ Language : Only English

▪ The painting must be made on the A3 size paper / Quarter Imperial (297mm X
420mm to 279 mm X 420mm).

▪ Materials to be used : Grade 1&2 - Oil Pastels/ Wax Crayons /Plastic Crayons

Grade 3 to 5 - Oil Pastels/ Water Colours/ Colour Pencils/
