POSTER-MAKING COMPETITION

Contest Guidelines

ELIGIBILITY„
• The competition is open to all students of Cardona Sub-Office (Elementary to Senior High
school)

GUIDELINES
• Theme: “Making Safe and healthy Environment Through Fighting Diseases”
• The poster must be on a 1/8 illustration board size and in land scape orientation.
• Ant type of coloring materials (oil paster, craypas, marker, ink, oil, crayons, color pencils,
acrylic and water color) are allowed.
• Only 3 participants per school will be accepted with proper endorsement of the school
principal.
• Photo and time lapse of video of entry must be sent on or before December 15, 2021 at
rotaractcardona@gmail.com with name, grade level and school.
• The Criteria for judging is as follows:

Appearance 50%)
The poster attracts viewer's attention.
Words are easy to read from appropriate distance (3-5) feet.
Text color and background color complements .
Background color doesn’t obscure or dim text.
Graphics and other visuals are clear, not pixelated or blurry.
All images are relevant and necessary to the poster.
Message / Content (50%
Message / content is clear and concise.
Content is not duplicated in text and graphics.
Purpose of the poster is stated clearly.
Conclusions are stated clearly.

SUBMISSIONS
• Entries must be submitted to the Rotary Club House or to any member of the Rotaract
Club of Cardona on or before 5:00 PM of December 15, 2021.
• Participants may submit the poster personally, electronically (INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS
HERE) or before the deadline.
• Entries must include the following details:
• Name/s of participants
• Grade Level
• Contact details
• Name of Schools
AWARDS
• Regional level winners will be announced on December 17, 2021.
• Prices for winners include:
• FIRST PLACE: Certificate of Recognition with Php. 700 cash incentives. .

• SECOND PLACE: Certificate of Recognition with Php. 500 cash

incentives.

• THIRD PLACE: Certificate of Recognition with Php. 300 cash incentives.
