FASTING TIPS

As you are all aware the holy month of Ramadan has begun , during this time , many of our colleagues
will be observing fasting, which requires additional care and attention. Here are some tips to help make
your Ramadan fasting experience easier and more enjoyable:

Plan your meals: Plan your meals before and after the fasting period to ensure that you consume enough
nutrients to sustain you throughout the day. Eat a balanced diet that includes carbohydrates, proteins,
and healthy fats.

Hydrate yourself: Drink plenty of water during the non-fasting hours to stay hydrated. Avoid caffeine and
sugary drinks, as they can cause dehydration .

Take Rest: Getting enough sleep is important during Ramadan. Try to get at least seven to eight hours of
sleep each night.

Avoid overeating: During the evening meal, known as iftar, avoid overeating. Eating large meals can
cause digestive problems and make it difficult to fast the next day.

Avoid spicy and fried foods: Spicy and fried foods can cause heartburn, indigestion, and bloating. Stick to
light, healthy meals that are easy to digest. Make Fruit and Vegetables an essential part of your ramadan
meals.

Take it easy: Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and self-discipline. Take it easy and avoid stressful
situations as much as possible.
