 The game volleyball was invented on February 9. 1895

 Mintonette was the original name of the game volleyball
 William G. Morgan invented the game volleyball.
 Players on zones II, III and IV are considered front row players.
 A six pack occurs when a defensive player gets hit in the head or face by a spiked ball.
Also called a facial.
 Stuff block is when a player jumps above the net to block and blocks the ball straight
down
 Substitution Zone is limited by the extension of both attack lines up to the scorer’s table.
