IV. PROCEDURES

A. Reviewing previous Good morning/ afternoon! As

lesson or presenting you have previously learned,
the new lesson literature is evolving with
times. One way to embrace
these changes is through
multimedia presentations.
These presentations are on
point when it comes to
allowing you to be more
creative and critical of what
you have read and what you
will read. Gone are the days
when you rely on your teacher
solely to interpret a text: now,
you can do it in many different
ways, either through AVP or
through voicing your own
opinion in a critical paper.

This week, I do encourage you

to used multi-media in literary

interpretation. This is because
some of you may think
differently from one another
and may possess other
intelligences such creative,
musical, spatial, and
mathematical intelligence. A
multimedia presentation may
help you undertake a task in
supportive social environment,
such as your friends and
teachers. Multimedia, when
done in the appropriate time in
an appropriate environment,
can be fun and informative
way of interpreting literary
selections that you have
previously read or researched
about.
B. Establishing a purpose for At the end of the lesson the
the lesson student will be able to:
1. Apply ICT skills in
crafting an adaptation
of a literary text.
2. Do- self assessment of
the creative adaptation
of a literary text, based
in rationalized criteria,
prior to presentation

C. Presenting The main goal of creating

examples/Instances multimedia presentation is to
of the new lesson. elicit response from your
audience. This is an
opportunity for you to foster
new forms of thinking and

learning, much like allowing
yourself and your audience to
understand the literary text
using their own life
experiences and personal
opinions by responding to
multimedia they are engaging
with.
Example multi-media
Combination of motion picture
with voice
Combination of collective
pictures and texts
Combination of video with
texts combination
Or video with sounds, texts,
and different transition
and animations

D. Discussing new concepts The use of multi-media

and practicing new skills presentation is very versatile
#1 way of exhibiting what you
learned and how you
perceived the knowledge you
gained.

4
Using multi-media has been
known to help demonstrate
your limitless creativity and
invaluable
insights, which is how literary
texts must be interpreted in
learning. Because multi-
media technology
integrated texts, graphics,
animation, audio, and video,
it stimulates your senses and
engages with
you more critically. You get
to see the literary selection
happening right in front of
you, and this maybe
a more convincing way of
eliciting a response.

There are many ways to

used multi-media in
literature. One way is to ease
the access of reading the
literary texts. When you were
tasked to research on a
literary selection from your
area, city or region,
you connect with Philippine
literature on a more personal
level. If you also looked for
thought-provoking images
and key information to help
you with your multi-media
presentation at the end of
this lesson.
