Introduction
I am here for a reason, and it is an intriguing one. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Kim Oruga your
guest speaker for today. I was awarded as the most influential motivational speaker of the year 2022. It's my
pleasure to be invited by Fidelis senior high school to be the speaker and give a talk. First of all, I want to
express my gratitude, and advance congratulations to Fidelis senior high school students. The day has come that
you are going to step on a new journey, I know it’s been hard for you for the past 2 years because of this
pandemic. Yet, the Fidelis senior high school students survive. You all are truly brave hearts. I have no doubt
that the majority of the students gathered here are still presuming about what course they will take in college. I
have been in your situation 10 years ago. I had sleepless nights thinking about what college course is suited for
me or what college course will make me successful. But always remember that you will not be successful if you
don’t work with hardship and optimism, it is not only about intelligence.

Body
As an influential speaker, I want to help you to pick a course in college. So let me tell you my story, this
course will shape myself. Enhance my skills and built a strong foundation for my future. Anyways, I am a
graduate student of Bachelor of arts in communication. I am a film director, and also a college professor. Way
back when I was a freshman I never used to write, read or communicate. And I realized that if I do not love to
do all of these why did I take BAcomm? I was shocked by my mistake, that you need to completely have the
skills before choosing BACOMM. In my first mid-year as a BACOMM student I realized that they sprightly
changed me, they opened up skills that I never knew I can do. I never expected that I will be a great speaker in
the future. That is why I am here with the title of the most influential speaker. I know someday all of you want
to be one of the most influential people. I will give you three reasons why you should take BA
COMMUNICATION as your college course. The Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BA Comm) is a four-
year undergraduate program designed to prepare future media practitioners and communication professionals to
be principled, competitive leaders. The BA Comm program is intended to prepare students to be effective
communicators, critical thinkers, and community-oriented lifelong learners. The first reason why you should
take BA COMMUNICATION is BACOMM is the room for the students who love to write and those who do
not. If you wanted to be a professional writer BACOMM is for you. They offer courses that will help you to
enhance your writing skills. For instance, introduction to news writing, screenwriting, technical writing, and
more courses about writing. All of these will enhance your writing skills. You can be a journalist, copywriter, or
screenwriter someday if you take BACOMMUNICATION. Furthermore, the second reason why you should
take BA COMMUNICATION is it also offers TV or radio productions. If you want to be a news
reporter/anchor, program/segment host, producer, researcher, or broadcaster then BACOMM is for you. It will
strengthen your communication skills as well as your English and public speaking. Lastly. the third reason why
you should take BACOMM is it also introduces the film. If you wanted to be an actor, director, or
cinematographer then BACOMM is for you. You will experience the real setting of the film, all of my past
years as a BACOMM student I am still surprised that I have been in a situation that I experience to be filmed, I
felt that I became an instant celebrity. Furthermore, all of the opportunities that I have said are not only the jobs
you will get if you take BACOMM. BACOMM is so flexible. You can be a college professor, brand manager,
or media planner and so many jobs are waiting for you if you take BACOMM. Studies have shown that those
who can communicate are more likely to get considered for promotions. This means that BACOMM could very
well increase your chances of going further in a company, of course, if u get promoted or to be in a company u
will get a big salary well I made thousands in a month.

Conclusion
Altogether, a BA communication degree is a great way to open the doors of opportunity across the
realms of advertising, marketing, media, sales, PR, journalism, Tv, broadcasting, communication, writing
editing, and more. BACOMM will offer numerous jobs and opportunities. Before ending my speech let me
speak this quote "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams’' I believe in my course
which shaped me into who I am today and if u also choose to be a BACOMM student surely you will also like
me. A successful woman. So, I hope you have decided on what course you will take in college, and I guess after
my speech some of you will take BACOMM as your college course. Ladies and Gentlemen that was what I
wanted to share with you. I hope to see you as a BACHELOR OF ARTS AND COMMUNICATION graduate.
