“Developing 21st-century learners' technical skills, talents, and qualities through academic education and
leadership”

The College of Subic Montessori Subic Bay aims to develop the students in their full
potentials not only in academic but also in doing things which can help them in their daily lives.
Every student is given the chance to be educated and acquired the desired knowledge that an
individual should have.
Our school is helping the students to develop their skills in doing simple things in cooking
and handcrafting which is taught in TLE subject. However , our school cannot givean efficient
output due to lac2 of tools and e1uipments for the students to be used&Masiag "igh School /ants
to be helpful and efficient to the students for lifelongs2ills& -hus, /e need to introduce positive
/ays and programs to broaden the s2ills of our students
College of Subic Montessori Virtual TLE/SSG DAY with the theme “Developing 21st-century
Learners' Technical Skills, Talents, and Qualities Through Academic Education and
Leadership” that will be held on June 9, 2022 at 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The event coordinator together with the event chairmen, SSG officers, TLE Club, SSG advisers
and the Department Heads headed this project.

This project will help promote the participation of the students while enjoying their time together
with their fellow students even in the distance learning system and to display their talents and
skills as Montessorians.

III. Project Objectives

*To display talents and skills of Montessorians especially in craftsmanship.

IV. Project description


This project will be accomplished with the help of our officers, faculty, staff and the support of
the students. Every student of the College of Subic Montessori is included in this school event.
We will be hosting contests for the students’ enjoyment. The main event of this project is to
showcase the talent of student in Technological and Livelihood Education,

Criteria for judging:


Mechanics:
- The participants must be enrolled at the College of Subic Montessori Subic Bay.
- The contest is open to all Casa and Elementary students only.
- Participants must showcase their creativity by making their own design of a puppet with the
use of recycled materials.
- Participants must film their own puppet –making process. This can be done using a video
camera or smart phone. The video should show every step of the puppet process from
beginning to end.
- The participants must submit a photo of the finished product.
- The time-lapse video must be in a landscape format with a minimum of 1 minute.
- All entries must be submitted to their adviser on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply
shall mean disqualification.

 DIY APRON MAKING CONTEST

Mechanics:
- The participants must be enrolled at the College of Subic Montessori Subic Bay.
- The contest is open to all Junior High School and Senior High School students only.
- The students may capture scenery or any object that will be their model in this contest.
- The participants must include a caption to their entry that is related to the theme.
- Entries should be submitted in digital format JPEG or PNG
- Photo should be taken in landscape format.
- All entries must be submitted to their adviser on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply
shall mean disqualification.

 CRAFTING CONTEST

- The participants must be enrolled at the College of Subic Montessori Subic Bay.
- The contest is open to all Junior High School and Senior High School students only.
- Participants must create useful craft from recyclable materials like plastic bottles, straws,
papers, cards, boards etc.
- Participants must film their own craft-making process. This can be done using a video camera
or smart phone. The video should show every step of the crafting process from beginning to end
with a minimum of 1 minute.
- The time-lapse video must be in a landscape format with a minimum of 1 minute.
- Participants must submit a photo of the finished product in landscape format.
- All entries must be submitted to their advisers on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply
shall mean disqualification.

- Participants must prepare any vegetable dish.
- The participants must submit a photo of finished product in landscape format.
- Participants must submit an instructional video detailing their dish.
- The video must show the proper sanitation and cleanliness while preparing the dish.
- Participants must film the process of making their dish. This can be done using a video camera
or smart phone. The video should show every step of the cooking process from beginning to
end.
- Entries must be in a landscape format with a minimum of 1 minute video.
- All entries must be submitted to their adviser on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply
shall mean disqualification.

 NAIL ART DESIGNS CONTEST

Mechanics:
- The participants must be enrolled at the College of Subic Montessori Subic Bay.
- Participant allowed in this contest are all Junior high school and senior high school department
only.
- Participant must “have a nail model” to work on their nail art.
- The participant is required to submit their time-lapse video with a better angle while doing the
nail art.
- The participant is only allowed to use 2-3 color of nail polish and prohibited to use any fake or
acrylic nails.
- The Participant may use beads or any other accessories for their nail art.
- The participant must submit a photo of the finished nail art entry.
- The participant must submit a short video explaining what inspired the nail art design.
- All entries must be submitted to the adviser on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply
shall mean disqualification.

napkins.
- The participant must submit a photo of finished product.
- All entries must be submitted to their adviser on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply
shall mean disqualification.

 FASHIONDESIGN CONTEST

- The participant is required to submit their time-lapse video with a better angle while doing the
fashion design.
- The participant can use bond paper/ sketchpad and any coloring materials.
- The participant must send a photo of the finished fashion design entry.

 WATERMELON CARVING CONTEST


Criteria for Judging:

Mechanics:
- The student must be enrolled at the College of Subic Montessori Subic Bay.
- Allowed participant in this contest are all Senior High School department only.
- Participants must create any watermelon carving decoration (e.g. flowers, animals, bowl, etc)
- The participant is required to submit their time-lapse video with a better angle while doing the
watermelon carving with a minimum of 1 minute.
- The participant must submit a photo of the finished product
- All entries must be submit to their adviser on or before June 3, 2022. Failure to comply shall
mean disqualification.

ADVOCACY: PLANTING (Project for the SPG, SSG and TLE Student)

Mechanics:
- All the SPG, SSG and TLE student is required to participate.
- The students must plant a fruit-bearing/forest seedling in his/her backyard or privately owned
lot.
- Participants must submit a photo of them planting in a landscape format.
- Participants must submit at least 1-2 minutes video as to why they choose to plant the seeds
of their choice on June 3, 2022.
