Quarter 3
Grade 5 (Mathematics)
MASTER ME
This Activity Sheet can help master your skills in:
1. Visualizing, naming, describing, and draws a polygon with 5 or more sides
2. Describing and comparing properties of polygons (regular and irregular polygons).
3. Visualizing congruent polygon
POLYGON - a polygon can be defined as a flat or plane, two-dimensional closed shape with straight
sides. It does not have curved sides.
Polygons are named after the number of sides/angles they have.
Polygon Name Figure Number of Sides
Triangle 3
Quadrilateral 4
Pentagon 5
Hexagon 6
Heptagon 7

Compare the following polygons. Color all regular polygons with RED and BLUE for irregular
polygons.
HARNESS SKILL
A. Write TRUE if the statement is correct and FALSE if it is wrong.
1. Three-sided polygon is called quadrilaterals.
2. Regular polygons have equal sides and angles
3. Polygons that have equal sides and angles are congruent polygons.
