1. In social relationships, where do you believe you belong: in an informal,

egalitarian or a formal, hierarchical?

In this world of full of relationships and individual substantial discretion to purse

the one that they like the most. I believe that we are in the formal, hierarchical, because
even if we desire to be more open of our self-growth, we can’t deny the fact, that our
society nowadays, is focusing more on power and hierarchy. Thus, deny it or not, we
are more like revolving in the way that their hierarchy and wealth. Although this exists
more in the older days, but there are still social hierarchy, because of the social classes,
and also money. More people, can’t express their own opinion and have their self-
growth. A multitude of data suggests that social structures are systemic, inherent, and
most likely developed to assist existence in a group-living setting. Despite some cross-
species variation, there is considerable evidence that hierarchies emerge as a result of
need and that their presence benefits social groupings. As people, we may form social
hierarchies along a variety of dimensions and we can indeed be classified as according
aptitude or skill, and also financial, physically, and occupational positions. Implied social
superiority signals were manipulated.

2. When it comes to beliefs and values, Eastern and Western countries practice
them. As a Filipino, which beliefs and values would you choose?

For what I had read about the Eastern and Western into belief and values, I
prefer the easter countries, when it comes to values and beliefs. They are more on
believing about being involved in the society rather than being just understanding
yourself. Although, it is quite a big responsibility in the Eastern culture, but it makes us
more connected with others, rather than just focusing in individuality. The life that we
can acquire, by helping others, as well us knowing that the truth is inside us, is
important, but we should not also forget our own. East thinks the actual key is hidden
inside. The subjective experience of a human being, as well as his or her capacity to
govern and develop it, is of the utmost importance. The path to the top starts with self
and self-awareness. Westerners place a high importance on success and achievement.
A legacy of social standards, ethical ideals, traditional practices, religious systems,
political structures, and particular artifacts and technology with some origin or
relationship with Asia. It is expected to be more of being aware of another human
beings, but it also emphasizes that we should not forget our own selves. I believe that I
would be able to live in the Eastern beliefs and values, because I know that caring and
also preparing myself to be a part of the society is a must.

3. Based on the Eastern perceptions your future was determined by the past and
your deeds today, do you believe with this saying? If you agree, specify your rationale, if
not, specify it otherwise?

They say, life is all about the continuous working, and the future Is the
consequences of your past. I believe in the Eastern perceptions, that your future was
develop by the past and your deeds today. As the Eastern perspective, it is believed
that we should be more responsible our own self, thus they believe that it is the actions
today that reflects in your future. Personally, I believe in this ideology, because
sometimes, we need to make better decisions in the present to make a better future.
Although we can forecast the future with certainty, we can take efforts to better
comprehend the world we live in and prepare for what may lie ahead. Nothing will
change in the future if nothing changes now. Alteration and compromise are never easy,
but we are utter idiots to permit our past to repeat itself indefinitely. Trials occur for a
reason; they occur to make things happier people. We must remember that not all
encounters are positive; there have always been negative experiences. The events that
occur must upset us at first, but somehow it later motivates us to keep trying and
overcome all of the obstacles we face.
