Reges Resort Declares Beaches to be Smoke-Free

Reges Oceanfront Resort opts to ban smoking on beaches following the veto of New Jersey
legislature
WILDWOOD CREST, N.J., April 12, 2022 - Reges Oceanfront Resort has announced its
beaches will be smoke-free after May 1st, 2022. This ban follows after Governor Chris Christie
vetoed legislation that banned smoking on beaches, waterfronts, and public parks. With this
restriction, the resort aims to make its retreat experience more family-friendly and
environmentally conscious.

“We prioritize the safety and experience of our patrons here at Reges Resort,” says Anthony
Mollica, president and general manager of the resort for 34 years. “We decided to ban smoking
on our beaches to provide our guests with a waste-free stay and ensure the beauty of our
waterfront property.”

Cleanliness and hospitality have been the values of Reges Resort for over 40 years. This
voluntary ban reflects the morals of this vacation destination and its care for patrons. The Reges
decision serves as an example for resorts around America as a center that prioritizes the safety
and care of their guests.
