Despite recent veto from Gov. Chris Christie, Reges Oceanfront Resort is committed to guaranteeing a
smoke-free vacation

WILDWOOD CREST, N.J., Oct. 18, 2023 – In light of recent veto, family owned and operated Reges
Oceanfront Resort is voluntarily banning smoking beginning Oct. 1, ensuring that resort-goers will have
the best experience possible.

President and General Manager of 34 years, Anthony Mollica, excitedly stated that, “We at the Reges
Oceanfront Resort in beautiful Wildwood Crest are proud of our oceanfront accommodations and resort
amenities.” Further, Mollica is pleased to mention that the resort is, “Widely recognized for our
cleanliness and exemplary hospitality service…”

As a business that understands a family's necessity to relax and enjoy vacation, Reges Oceanfront Resort
has made the dedicated effort to ban smoking at the resort. After much research, the resort has concluded
that this is the best decision to make for its patrons, regardless of recent decision by Gov. Chris Christie to
veto a legislative ban against smoking on beaches, waterfronts and public parks. Nearby New York City
Parks has also banned smoking in outdoor spaces and has found that, “Studies suggest that sitting 3 feet
away from a smoker outdoors can expose you to the same level of secondhand smoke as if you were
sitting indoors with a smoker.”

In order to guarantee clean, healthy and beautiful family-fun, the resort is mitigating any hazardous risks
– such as smoking. Families that wish to vacation at the Reges Oceanfront Resort can enjoy a variety of
