NAME OF WORK - CONSTRUCTION OF SUBMERSIBLE MAJOR BRIDGE ACROSS NALA IN KM 4+950 ON MDR-25 TO
CHANDRA ROAD IN AHERI TALUKA OF DISTRICT GADCHIROLI (LR-045)
PROPOSAL - Proposed 2 Span of 8.00M C/c submercible major bridge with open foundation at right
angle crossing.
NECESSITY - The proposed rural road link (LR-045) in block Aheri is serving the population
having existing cart track portion.
This is a rural road connecting rural habitation to near by market center, health center and
education center etc. it is necessary to construct bridge on this road to give all whether
connectivity to unconnected habitations.
ALIGNMENT - District Gadchiroli is affected by Left Wing Extremists (LWE). The road passes through
forest area . Required land width is available and there is no need of additional land
acquision.
EXISTING STATUS- Rural Link No. [LR-045] is having total length 2.2 KM.
There is unbridged crossing in KM 4+950.
PROPOSAL - A. BRIDGE :
DESIGN : The design is based as per IRC SP-13-2015, for design and specifications of bridge.
MATERIAL- The following Material required for construction of the road are locally available and will be
arranged by the contractor from the approved quarries and suppliers or the department.
RATES - Rates adopted for the estimates are based on the (P.M.G.S.Y. LWE) " Schedule of Rates
(SOR)" 2017 for District Gadchiroli (MH). w.e.f from January 2017.
Specifications and code practice laid down by Indian Road Congress publications SP-20
SPECIFICATIONS -
and guideline " Rural Road Manual " SP-20 (2002) have been reffered for DPR
preparation & "SP-72 (2015) have been reffered for design of Flexible Pavement.
