 Checking of Attendance

 Review the different types of lines and angles that have been previously
discussed in class
Review of Past
Lesson

Motivation  Show students various objects or shapes that contain angles, such as a
square, rectangle, or triangle, and ask them to identify the angles in each
shape
V. Lesson Proper

 Provide students with a set of angle cards that show different angles, and
Activity have them work in pairs to sort the angles into categories of acute,
obtuse, right, and straight angles. Students can also draw and label these
angles in their notebooks.
Analysis  As a class, discuss the different ways to classify angles and the properties
of each type. Use examples from the students' work to reinforce the
concepts.

Abstraction  Introduce the concept of complementary and supplementary angles and

how they relate to the different types of angles.
Application  Have students create their own set of angle cards and challenge a
partner to classify them. They can also find real-world examples of angles
around them and label them accordingly.
Assessment  Assign a worksheet where students must identify and classify different
types of angles, including complementary and supplementary angles.

Enrichment  For students who finish early, provide a set of angle puzzles or games
Activity that reinforce the concepts covered in class..
