a. Beginning
- as a beginning teacher I must be make time to talk with my student, Don’t compare children to other children,
Stay caught up, Make friends fast, Get comfortable with data, Fall in love what we have do, devise a bag of
tricks, Embrace the circumstance and know the ins and outs.

INTRODUCTION

Education and teaching need to learn pupils and society to deal with future challenges.
The challenges faced today are both of global and local character. The relation between  the global and
local can be described as a “Glocal” perspective. Such a perspective introduces a series of themes.
Globalization in a variety of formats gives new conditions for schools, for distribution of
knowledge, for governing of schools, for being a professional teacher and being a pupil.  It is a present
challenge to develop and institutionalize a glocal education and glocal teacher professionalism.
A GLOCAL TEACHER is a competent teacher who is armed with enough skills, appropriate attitudes and
universal values to teach students with both time tested as well as modern technologies in education inany
place in the world.
Global education is;
 UNESCO defines global education as a goal to develop countries worldwide and is aimed at educating all
people in accordance with world standards.
 Another definition is that global education is a curriculum that is international in scope which prepares
today’s youth around the world to function in one world environment under teacher who are
intellectually, professionally and humanistically prepared.

CONCLUSION
Therefore, Glocal teacher is very important for each people in the world because they are the one that can be

patiently to teach for the learner. And they are the the one that competitive in globally, and communicate
effectively using universal language.

REFLECTION

1. A global teacher is an educator that incorporates various global issues into their curriculum
including multiculturalism, economic, environmental and social issues. The teacher expands the
scope of their viewpoint beyond the normal boundaries of the local classroom, as students learn
about diversity and how they fit into the global society.
2. Yes, because Educators who engage in lifelong learning set an example for their students, they
practice what they teach.
3. Yes, because global teacher is someone who is someone who is globally competitive and Being
globally competitive, the teacher should be able to communicate effectively using the universal
language.

4. “As a glocal teacher, act locally but think globally” As a teacher it is very important that a glocal teacher,
act locally in order to maximize the use of available materials and at the same time the students can
understand well and to have a deep understanding and to have an authentic learning because the
learning materials used by the teacher is based on the real lives of the learners.
