Proficient considering the 40 years experience as an instructor and having obtained a post
graduate degree I believe , I have become a proficient teacher.

2. Which of the following have you given much considerations in your teaching? Why?

JUST as technology improves so fast, education must evolve from its focus from his country
and extends to what is global in order to upgrade and level up with other developing countries.

The learners they are always a challenge considering that students nowadays are more tech
savvy and they are inquisitive about almost anything. B, the learning environment the
pandemic gives a crucial but challenging adaptation to online or virtual instructions and this
provides ingenuity on my part as a teacher. C the pay with years of experience plus the
academic qualification this one sometimes is just secondary to the happiness a teacher like me
gets upon seeing my students succeed.

1. Who is a glocal teacher? What are the attributes of the glocal teacher?

Glocal teacher like Dr.Dacubor Some of the attributes of a glocal teacher are modeling
responsibility in local and global context . providing growth opportunities based on their level
of development. values to teach learners at home or abroad but is equipped with both time
tested as well as modern technologies in education in any time and any place in the world. He
can adapt to any teaching platform either local and global.

2. Can the teacher whom you have interviewed be classified as a glocal teacher? Why? Why not?
Because they both possess the qualities that a glocal teacher should have, the teachers we
interviewed can be categorized as glocal teachers. They gave their students the tools they
needed to become internationally competent people by employing 21st century learning
evaluations that sharpened their learning and thinking abilities. They highlighted major global
topics while teaching, used global examples, and had a better understanding of how to use new
technologies that they can pass on to their pupils. They not only improve their students'
learning and thinking skills, but they also teach them life skills, such as leadership, ethics, self-
direction, and persistence.

Global teacher without teaching abroad being a global teacher doesn’t mean we have to teach
from another country. It is not about where we teach , it is about what we teach and how we
teach . Becoming a global teacher, one must diversify teaching ideas and overcome fear of
interacting with others and increasing one's experiences outside the bounds of their
classrooms, schools, or communities.

Global teacher is someone who thinks and behaves with worldwide experiences both locally
and globally . but teachers in the cultures , localities , cities , provinces and regions where he
or she is located. They are global teachers who is qualified and prepared with adequate skills,
proper attitude and universal values to teach students at home or abroad. A teacher has to be
equipped with teaching strategies and techniques that can be of par with the glocal teaching
arena.
