1.1.8 Assure proper frequency of gas test every 2hrs or as per


WP.

1.2.2 Only authorized & qualified persons shall be allowed to


enter confined space with valid work permit. Entrant shall
entry exit from same manway unless in emergency situation
(notify and log in/ log out accordingly).

1.2.3 Approved rescue plan shall be available as per entry


permit and the entrants shall not exceed as mentioned in the
plan.

1.2.4 Standby man shall ensure that the entrance of confined


area barricaded & placed warning signage’s, during breaks
and after completion of job.

to entrants and standby man for emergency purposes.

1.5.4 The extension cord shall have a valid PK inspection


sticker. Damaged/frayed Flexible cords/cables/wires shall not
be used. Cords should be inspected before each use. Flexible
cords shall be used only in continuous lengths without splice
or tape.

1.6 Electrical Hazard C3,L4 / MINOR 1.6.1 Electrical cables should not contact with hot, sharp and C3,L5 INSIGNIFICANT
wet surfaces.

1.6.2 Ensure that electrical cables shall be routed without


touching metal parts directly and use insulation pads or strap
method to hold the required cables.

1.6.3 Damaged/frayed Flexible cords/cables/wires shall not


be used. Cords should be inspected before each use. Flexible
cords shall be used only in continuous lengths without splice
or tape.

1.6.4 Flexible/extension cords, hand and stand lights shall be


provided with an electrical inspection sticker.

1.6.5 Electrician shall inspect the electrical setup for confined


space

3.4.8 Ensure that sand blasters shall be maintain safe distance
from the object to be blasted while working inside confined
space.
3.4.9 Workers shall be maintain safe distance from the joints
of hoses during sand blasting.
3.4.10 Ensure the dead man switch is in proper operational
condition.
3.4.11 Blasting pressure shall not exceed allowable limits.

3.4.12 Damaged hose shall not be used.

3.4.13 Pressure gauges shall be calibrated and Monitor


blasting pressure.
3.4.14 Technicians and execution supervisor shall be checked
physically integrity of hoses screw before work begins to
prevent diconnection of hoses from holder.

source of ignition including any electrical spark to prevent any
fire incident.
