1. Larger Customer Base

Using the advertisement facility over internet, the online business can be
promoted to even those people who are otherwise unaware of existence of a restaurant
or cannot visit due to distant outlets. This will result in attracting large number of
customers who can order their food online.
2. Improved Sales
With expansion of customer base, the online business is supposed to expand.
This will result in better sales as there will be visiting customers as well as those who
will order the food online.
3. Need of the Day
Online food businesses are becoming popular with each passing day. These are
equally famous among working class as well as students. People at jobs / students
sometimes do not find enough time to visit a restaurant so they opt to get their food
delivered at their place. Similarly sometimes it is not possible for a host to take his
guests to the restaurant so he can order outside food online serve his guests at home.
4. Challenge of Delivering Hot Meal
.One of the major challenge that the online food services have to face is
provision of hot meal to all the customers in their areas of residence. There might be
orders from far flung areas that may take enough time to cool down the food a bit. Thus,
this challenge forces online food businesses to restrict their delivery service to limited
circle of area where they can guarantee that delivered food is still hot.
5. Number of Delivery Individuals / Vehicles
As the online food business expands, there will be need to employ more
individuals and delivery vehicles as there will be more number of orders that require
timely delivery while ensuring customer satisfaction. More load on a single individual will
result in delayed delivery or food getting cold.
