Materials and Preparation


● Images (flashcard) nature, animals, people, instruments
● Presentations (canva)
● Speaker
● Video: The Animal Song
● Video: Opening Prayer/ for Classroom
● Goodbye Song Goodbye Song for Children | Afternoon Stretch Song for Kids | English Gre…

Introduction
The teacher will lead the prayer; following that, the teacher will provide and perform motivational
songs about animals, which all students will stand up and perform.

Explicit Instruction/Teacher modeling


● The teacher will play the video provided in canva presentations
10 hours of absolute silence (the original) &
Crowd Free Stock Footages - Crowd Free Stock Videos - Crowd No Copyright Videos
● Ask the students 1 by 1 what they hear in the video and what are the differences between
● The teacher will explain the differences of sounds and silence using his/her presentations provide
● The teacher will show to the students what are the notes and symbol in music using provided in
canva presentations
● Following that, the teacher will divide the students into three groups. Each group has three
students.

Guided Practices
● Each group will be provided a 2 Images (flashcards) of sounds that represent sounds and
pictures that represent silence
● Teacher will give a time to student to think about what are they will answers
● After they collaborate and share their insights with their classmates and talk about the images
that are provided to them, each group will show their pictures that were provided to them and
share their thoughts in the other groups. For example:
★ “Our pictures that were given to us by Teacher Sean, a ball and nature(forest)
etc.”
Independent Working Time
● The teacher will remind the students sit properly and focus on the video story that teacher will
play
● Students will identify and explain what are the representing sounds and what are the representing
silence
● Each student will have a pencil and paper to take notes on their answers. Each student has a
chance to clarify their answer on why they put the words in their paper.

Differentiation
Grouping:
● Students will be group again, students that are more enhance the skills and active will be group
together
● Students are minimal to talk in their class or not really active and struggling to identify or explain
their answers will be group together
Support:
● Focus on the students who are struggling and discuss what are the differentiates sounds and
silence

Assessment
● Observe the student if they can discuss their answers about the differences of sounds and
silence.
● The teacher will reopen his or her canvas to show the video about sound and silence differences.

Review Closing
● The teacher will ask the students to bring their things that represent sounds and represent silence
and they will show it at the next meeting. Teacher will ask the question “where does this sound
come from, arf arf arf!?” After that the teacher will play the goodbye songs.
