I learn about the value of friendship. In this
movie, Aladdin is joined by Abu, Magic Carpet,
and Genie throughout his journey and travels.
The people who Aladdin can call friends,
support him and share the mutual desire to
fulfill his goals. Having great friends who we
can depend on will not only help us to grow as
a person but will invigorate us with positive
energy and keep us focused on our goals, just
like Aladdin.
QUESTION 2
What did you like best about the movie? Why?

The scene when Aladdin has an epiphany and

tricks Jafar into becoming an “all-
powerful genie” himself, which results in
his being trapped in a lamp and condemned
to servitude, just as Aladdin’s genie was.
Aladdin then sacrifices his dreams, using
his third wish to free the genie. The Sultan
is impressed and insists Aladdin marry his
daughter regardless his social status. I like
this scene because it shows an effort of
someone to get someone or something
they want.
QUESTION 3
What did you like least about the film? Why?
The scene when Jafar, a power-hungry sorcerer and the
Grand vizier of Agrabah who frustrated with the Sultan's
ways of ruling, devises a plot to overthrow him as the ruler
of Agrabah by acquiring the Genie's lamp. When he got the
lamp, he make a wish to be a Sultan of Agrabah and want to
destroy the kingdom. I like least for this scene because it
shows a bad attitude which is betrayal as he betray the
kingdom for his own benefit.
QUESTION 4
What is the message of this movie? Do you agree or disagree with it?
This movie shows that true love and loyal friendship can help us go through hardships. Aladdin and Abu the
monkey helps Jasmine to be free from Jafar and reveal Jafar's crime and evil intention through the journey
of marrying Princess Jasmine with the help of the Genie.
This movie also implies that the value of friendship is greater than having power and money. Aladdin shows us
what true friendship is by making a decision to allow the Genie to set himself free with his last wish. Aladdin
preferred to have a relationship with the Genie over wealth.
I agree with both messages because good relationships, either romantic or platonic can motivate you morally
and support you literally. True friends can help you be the better version of yourself.
QUESTION 5
What moments resonated with you while watching this movie? (how it relates to your previous or current
social-life)
QUESTION 5
What moments resonated with you while watching this movie? (how it relates to your previous or current
social-life)
In this movie, Abu, Magic Carpet and Genie are concerned
about Aladdin after he is thrown to the sea. The Genie has to
resort to another way in order to save Aladdin from drowning.
Abu and the magic carpet waited for Ali to be saved since they
cannot do more. That resonates with me and my friends when
we are in need of each other, My friends will always be there to
support me in my bright and dark times as I will in theirs.
QUESTION 6
If you had a chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what
would it be?
QUESTION 6
If you had a chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what
would it be?

If I had the chance, I would want to ask Aladdin a

question. At the end of the film, Princess Jasmine
still loves Aladdin even after she knows the truth
about his identity. My question is would he still use
his first wish to become a prince if there is no rule
saying princess should marry a prince?
