PL Anecdotal Responses

At the end of the session on Day 2, I asked the participants to send any comments that they would like
to add. I had a few people email written anecdotal responses. Those follow:

1) Thank you! I have learned enough to be dangerous! 😊—from a veteran math teacher who teaches
AP Calculus among other advanced classes
2) Your PL was so good. I learned a lot and you have lit a fire!—from a young special education teacher
who is currently working on her gifted endorsement from another institution

3) Thank you to Rhonda Cowart for the amazing sessions on gifted learners.  I learned so
much AND I’m ready to advocate for our gifted learners.  You lit a fire! 😊

4) Shout out to Cowart for delivering eye opening and insightful PD on gifted learners.

These are from emails and from a weekly staff-wide email we receive called “Shout-Outs” that give a
little nod to those who have done something positive during the week. All staff members are given the
opportunity to send a shout-out, and all the responses are then compiled by a single teacher and then
sent in one big email. The last two entries here were in that week’s Shout-Outs.
