    This artifact contains pre and post survey results from a professional learning session. The top graph shows results from a pre-assessment survey and the bottom graph shows improved post-assessment results. The survey addressed goals of increasing knowledge on addressed topics and measuring the impact of the professional learning. Significant growth across all surveyed areas provides evidence that the first and third goals were achieved. Some challenge was presented by the new Microsoft Forms software used to create the graphs but it was not too difficult to learn.

    Description of Item Content This artifact shows the pre and post assessment
    survey results for my PL sessions. The top graph
    shows the pre-assessment survey results again
    for comparison. The bottom graph shows the
    post-assessment survey results submitted by
    participants following the delivery of my PL.
    Relation to Goals/Significance Significant growth and improvement are shown
    in all areas addressed by the survey. These data
    relate to Goals 1 and 3 in that knowledge of the
    topics addressed in the first goal is shown to have
    increased among the participants. Goal 3, that
    deals with measuring impact of the PL, is at the
    heart of this artifact. This is Goal 3. The results
    also give me a guide as to which areas can be
    improved upon if this PL were to be repeated or
    expanded at a later date.
    Acquisition Challenge Level Again, these graphs were created using Microsoft
    1=Easy; 5=Difficult Forms, which was a program that I had not used
    before, so there was a bit of a learning curve, but
    not too difficult.
