I would like to acknowledge and give my special thanks to my parents for always
encouraging me in my hobby from the very beginning. They have always understood my likes,
supported and never belittled me for it, to the point of accepting it as a career path despite it
being very far-fetched. I have always been grateful and at ease knowing they are always willing
to help.
Secondly, huge thanks to my friends that was willing to be my first customer in buying
my product. They gave me the confidence in the worth of my product and talked me through it.

Executive Summary
Scarfs or tudung, is an essential items that a Muslims women need to have. Nowadays,
there are varieties of scarfs that available in the market. So with this ENT300 assignment, I
would like to take part in adventuring women’s market so when I start my own business in the
near future, I can know the needs of women in market. This business aims in making profit for
me and also collecting the experience in order to start my real business which is creating a
clothing brand.
The mission of this business is to provide the cheap and high quality Bawal Cotton to the
customer. By choosing scarfs as the product, the option will be not limited as it has more types of
colours and materials. Also, this business can try to enter the scarfs business market even if there
are lots of other entrepreneurs. By competing with others, I can gain more experience and
knowledge.

2.1 Background Description
Opening and creating my own brand was always one my dream that I need to
accomplish in my life time. So this time, using ENT300 individual assignment, I
want to start my journey of creating my own brand by selling scarfs or tudung.
One of the main reason why I choose to sell this product is because it is
more cheap and more easy to resell it rather than selling a cloth or a shirt.
By selling this type product, I can get closer information to women
preference for scarfs and also market choice.
My target market is often people who will use this product regardless of
their ages, from kids to adults’ range of age. Even a man can buy this
product as a gift.

I introduce and distribute my product via online, usually by popular social
platform. There are countless of social platform, but the only platform I
chose to use is WhatsApp. WhatsApp have this feature where the user can
upload the selected image at status. I often upload my product at
WhatsApp status so the contact number that I saved can see my status.
When the customers are interested with my product, they can chat me
personally and also they can share my number to their friends.

From this experience I have learnt that an entrepreneur must have realistic views and
expectations as to how the business will start, proceed and end. Overestimation could
lead to disappointment if all does not go as expected which will evidently affect
motivation as well. Luckily by striving onwards, I do feel that in the end, the business
was a huge success and I feel proud about that fact. The first sale made me happy so
much because I manage to sell my product. This led me to continue on doing on my
business in the future. The experience that I already have will help me for opening and
creating my own brand. In hoping with this, I hope I can become a successful
entrepreneur Insyallah.
5.0 Conclusion
In conclusion this Bawal Business activity had been a success having 10 sells completed
and making RM34.2 in total. Even if the profit is so small, regardless of that the
experience that I have accumulated is much worth than that. I hope in the near future, I
can get a lot more customer and I hope I can get more profit so I can start other type of
business.
