Senior Project Log

February 15th
My mentor showed me how to change my own oil and oil filter. He showed me what to
do and what type of filter and oil my car needed.
Time- 1 hour 30 minutes

February 26th
We looked at the starter in his truck, and then we changed my oil filter and added some
oil into my car, he had me loosen the oil filter cap and put it back on.
Time- 3 hours 30 minutes

April 2nd
We talked and made a plan on how we would be doing the how to manual, we wrote our
plans on notebook paper so we woudlnt forget what we planned on doing.
Time- 1 hour

April 8th
I checked how much oil I had in my car and I added some because I was getting really
low, I didnt have a funnel or anything so I had to improvise and cut a empty water bottle in half
to use it as a funnel.
Time- 15 minutes

April 12th
He showed me how to do everything we are going to do for the how to manual and I
wrote it in a notebook to follow along and so when I typed it I can put it exactly how we did it,
he also had me do some ot the things to learn how to do it.
Time- 4 hours 30 minutes

April 14th
I started to type everything we put in the notebook onto google docs, I added the number
of pages.
Time- 2 hour and 45 minutes

April 17th
I finished typing the manual and made sure everything was typed right and fixed any
typing mistakes.
Time- 2 hours
