The document discusses how understanding the educational philosophy, vision, mission, and goals (PVMGO) of one's school provides important context for students' decisions and choices. Knowing the PVMGO allows students to make decisions that are relevant to their aspirations and gives them a benchmark to measure personal and professional success consistently with the university's guiding principles. However, students should keep the essence of the PVMGO private and not lack concern for achieving their aims, otherwise they may not truly manifest as professionals.

The UB PVMGO provides context for the choices we will be making as
an individual. Our decisions can be fully understood and justified if we are aware of the educational philosophy, vision, mission and goals of our school. These decisions should be relevant to our ultimate aspirations in life in order to gives satisfaction, much like what PVMGO intended to convey to the students. In line with guiding principles of our university, I should have a benchmark or standard by which to measure my personal and professional success. Nevertheless, if we don’t keep it to ourselves, it might be a sign of lack of concern for the course of our aims. If we do not also know what is the real essence of these PVMGO for us students, these would not be a great manifestation of a real professional.
