Dear Penguin,
I am a masters degree holder in Urban and Regional planning from Imo State
University Owerri Imo State Nigeria, happy to apply for Assistant Town Planner job
which I saw in planner jobs uk. Having been working with the Planning Authority for
more than ten years, I see this opportunity as another avenue to make a positive
impact in my career as a Town Planner.
I started my career with the planning Authority (Public Sector) in 2009 as a higher
Technical officer in charge of Development control the various housing layout in the
local government. I rose to the rank of Town Planning Officer in 2012 in charge of
layout design in which I harmoniously coordinated other professionals like surveyors
and architects to produced one of the best residential housing layouts in my domain
"New Haven housing estate" in 2013. Presently I occupy the position of Head of
Planning and I have used my wealth of experience to establish proper planning
application management, good urban design and compliance within my area.
As a Town planner with many years of experience in the planning Authority, I would
like to share with your team same skill like; critical thinking, confidence in leadership,
ability to work as a team, good time management and motivations to jobs which I
