teacher’s school (include name of curriculum and its characteristics).

Answer: the name of curriculum is merdeka belajar that’s mean curriculum uses
various intracurricular learning and has a lot of time to understand the concept
of strengthening competence. One of the characteristics of the independent
curriculum is flexible learning.

The positive and negative sides of the curriculum according to teacher’s

experiences (include the reasons).

Answer:

1. The positive impact is that students are given the freedom to choose what
they are interested in, and are given the opportunity to explore and
appreciate the interests and talents they have. because in the
independent curriculum there are 5P (PROJECT OF STRENGTHENING
PANCASILA STUDENT PROFILE)
2. the negative impact is that many students find it difficult to explore
themselves so that these students can miss the lessons or knowledge
provided by the teacher using the independent curriculum, and because
of the sudden change in the curriculum there are still many students who
do not understand and understand the concept of an independent
curriculum.

because in the current era, always using technology can make it easier to access
learning material.

Brief explanation about the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka at the

teacher’s school (include name of curriculum and its characteristics).

Answer: curriculum that provides space for each student to be able to choose
what the student is interested in.

The positive and negative sides of the curriculum according to teacher’s

experiences (include the reasons).

Answer:

1. The positive impact of this independent curriculum is the flexibility of

implementing the curriculum for both teachers and students

2. The negative impact of this independent curriculum is that there are elective
subjects in phase F which may not be interested because students choose the
chosen subject themselves.

Teacher’s perception on the use of ICT in teaching and learning process.

Answer: Opinions about the use of ICT in the teaching process are important
because professional teachers must use the times, especially technology that is
growing rapidly, if you don't keep up with the times, the teacher will definitely
not have innovation in teaching and the teacher must always be ready to face
challenges in teaching.

The examples of ICT implementations by the teacher.

Answer: Use lcd proyector to giving the materi for every student in the class.

Hopes for the educational system in Indonesia

Answer: The hope for the education system is that it must always keep up with
the times, especially with the era of revolution, teachers educating current
students must be able to give students the ability to answer the challenges
students will face in the future.

Brief explanation about the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka at the

teacher’s school (include name of curriculum and its characteristics).

Answer: Implementation means applying, while the Merdeka Curriculum is a

curriculum that currently provides opportunities for each student to be able to
develop with their own interests and talents. There are also several main things
that are the focus of the Independent Curriculum, including providing essential
material, strengthening character, and developing potential of the students
themselves.

The positive and negative sides of the curriculum according to teacher’s

experiences (include the reasons).

Answer:

positive impact:

1. Simpler and more fun, because the focus of learning is on developing the
potential of students according to their talents and interests.

2. Communicative and interactive where the communication that occurs will be

more interactive between educators and students through the application of
the learning process of project activities. Thus, in the learning process students
are more active in expressing themselves according to their respective
strengths so that they can support the development of character and
competency in the Pancasila Student Profile

Negative impact or lack thereof:

1. Maybe the implementation system of the Independent Curriculum cannot be

implemented simultaneously at every level of education. Only certain schools
can implement the Independent Curriculum, the factor could be due to a lack of
socialization regarding how to implement this independent curriculum itself.

2. There is a lack of human resources for educators who understand the

implementation of the independent curriculum, because so far from an
administrative point of view educators such as learning tools etc. are in
accordance with the current independent curriculum, it's just that the
implementation is not fully in accordance with the independent curriculum and
is still carried along with the existing curriculum previously.

Teacher’s perception on the use of ICT in teaching and learning process.

Answer: Very important and necessary, because now is the era of

modernization, information knowledge can be obtained from anywhere, while
learning in class if you use assistive devices such as laptops, networks,
projectors, LCDs etc. will certainly be more helpful for educators to convey
material not only from explanations but students can also see directly after that
students more easily analyze.

The examples of ICT implementations by the teacher.

Answer: In that class, like laptops and projectors, they usually show learning
videos or ppt. if outside the classroom occasionally students use mobile phones
and even that is not an individual but a group representative.

Hopes for the educational system in Indonesia

Answer: The hope is that the Indonesian education system will be increasingly
acceptable and well implemented so that it is able to produce a generation of
people who are not only intelligent but also virtuous in Pancasila.
CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

According to the explanation of the teachers above, it can be concluded that:

 it can be concluded that the independent curriculum is a curriculum that

provides opportunities for each student to be able to choose and develop
with their respective interests and talents that focus on providing essential
material, strengthening character values and developing the potential of
each student.
 looking at the various perspectives that I get, in my opinion the positive
impact of using the independent curriculum is that students can explore
themselves to choose their own interests and talents, and this curriculum
makes each student more active and communicative because each student
is required to always give their own opinion and more able to express
themselves in accordance with the strengths possessed by each student, so
as to support the development of the character and competency profile of
Pancasila students (or what is called 5P). and the drawback of the
independent curriculum in my opinion is that there are still many schools
in remote villages that have not used the independent curriculum because
of the limited number of educators who understand the implementation of
the independent curriculum.
 And the last, In my opinion, the challenge in teaching the independent
curriculum is in the Pancasila student project because in that project the
teacher is required to carry out 1-3 projects in one semester, and because
the project can have an impact on the time being cut during the learning
process

As a teacher candidate, my suggestion to the upcoming curriculum and education

system in Indonesia:

 My suggestion for the upcoming curriculum and system education is easier

to understand and less complicated. always use ICT to make it easier for
students to access various knowledge, and pay more attention to schools
located in remote parts of the country so that the use of ICT is evenly
distributed in Indonesia.
