First scene
Narrator: The Philippines is an archipelagic country in southeast Asia, known for its extra
friendly people, expansive forests and abundance of love. A lot to explore! In this drama, you
will get to know more about the Philippines and its culture. Isang magandang dalaga ay nakatira
sa kanyang Lola at Lolo in the year 2023. However, their values are not compatible with each
other. Let’s see how it goes.
Valde: (lumabas sa kwarto na super sexy)
Lola: Ano ba naman ang iyong kasuotan, Apo, mukha ka nang nakahubad niyan.
Valde: Ano kaba Lola, trend po ito ngayon.
Lolo: trend? anong trend?
Valde: Trend po as in USO!
Lola: Mga bata ba naman, alam mo ba noong kapanahunan namin, naku! super conservative
ng mga babae. Hindi katulad mo ngayon na parang puta kung makapanamit. Naku!
Valde: Lola, alangan namang mag ala-madre ang suot ko. Ur so exag and oa.
*(papasok si Sumalpong na naka filipiñana at rarampa)

Narrator:Valde had met someone online at sila po ay nagka inlaban at naging mag nobyo. Ang
kanyang nobyo ay isang canadian citizen. At ang kanyang nobyo ay kabilang sa lgbtq
community.

*(Valde nag sweet talk sa iyang gf on the phone)

Valde:Babe this is my grandparents..

Lola: hello.
Lolo: Come visit the philippines!
Valde: Btw Lola, lolo, my friends are coming over tonight. We will have a party in celebration of
my long distance girlfriend's first monthsary.
Lolo: wow cinecelebrate na pala ang monthsary ngayon Apo
Valde: oo naman lolo! duh!
Lola: alam mo ba apo, noong panahon namin ay kapag nahalikan ng lalaki ang isang babae
kahit sa pisngi man lang ay kailangan niya itong pakasalan.

*(Sumalpong and Capadngan with their 1880’s costume ay palarong tumatakbo tapos
accidentally kissed sumalpong sa cheeks)
Sumalpong: *blushing. Ano ang iyong ginawa? With cute effects
Capadngan: wag kang mag-alala, aking irog. Handa kitang pakasalan kahit anong oras, kahit
anong araw, at kahit saang simbahan.
Sumalpong: papalapit na ang gabi, aking irog, kinakailangan ko nang umuwi, marahil ay
hinahanap na ako ng aking ama.
Capadngan: ihahatid na kita aking irog.
*(After walking sumalpong home, capadngan calls his friends to help him harana)
(after harana)
Capadngan: magandang gabi po tiyo, maaari po ba akong makituloy sa iyong bahay?
Sumalpong: Papa, patuluyin mo na po.
Siangco: maari na kayong tumuloy

Next scene:
*(Valde nagwawalis sa sala while lola and lolo kay nag read book)
Lolo: Apo, bawal magwalis kapag gabi na kasi nakakapag dala iyan ng malas!
Valde: pupunta nga po iyong mga friends ko lolo tapos ang kalat dito sa bahay.
Lola: kahit na apo, hala ka sige baka mag break kayo ng afam mo kakawalis mo diyan.
Valde: lola naman e.

*(Vios and Agan knocks the door)

Valde: Hi friends! Come in!
Vios: we bought some beers!
Agan: happy monthsary so proud!
Valde: thanks!
*(Cabasag and arana knocks on door)
arana: Wazzup guiz!
Cabasag: Happy monthsary!
Valde: come in!
Cabasag: We bought pulutan!
*(all friends nagmano sa dalawang matatanda tapos naglingkod pina circle with the ilimnon og
pulutan sa tunga, nag cellphone ang all)

Narrator: pagmamano is a Filipino value depicting respect to elders. Kids these days are so
engrossed with their phone that they do not talk with each other anymore, palagi na lang nag
facebook, instagram, twitter, inshort, Filipinos are social media obsessed kaya naman ang
Pilipinas ay kilala bilang social networking capital.

Agan: guys, fyi, buntis ang gf ni dante. 5 months!

Arana : weh? How did you know?
Agan: duh, I saw their stories on ig!

Vios: really? Oh I must follow their ig!
cabasag: guys, I want to eat pizzal
Vios: me too!
cabasag: i’ll order online!
Arana : I want pepperoni.

Vios: I'll call him!
*(Acotanza nag higda while gitubag ang phone)
Acotanza: zup guys?
Vios: where are you? come here na andito na lahat ng barkada.
Acotanza: i'm coming (nibalik katug)
Valde: alam niyo naman yun si joshua, always talaga ung late. Wag na kayong magtaka.
Cabasag: ang tawag diyan ay?
All friends: Filipino time!
Delivery guy: (knocks on door) Good morning sir, here’s your order. It is worth 2,354 po.
Cabasag: Here, keep the change.
Delivery guy: thank you sir.
Acotanza: sup guys, i'm here
Vios: 1 hour ka nang late hoyy!
(all dances tiktok or budots)
Lola: mga bata ba naman, kami noong una ay ang pormal kung makasayaw, hays.
(Sumalpong and Capadngan with their filipiñiana outfit would dance)

Narrator: After 2 years of online relationship, naisipan na ng jowa ni Valde lumipad sa pilipinas
upang makita siya.

NEXT SCENE: AT THE AIRPORT

Valde: oh my god i'm so excited to see my jowaa
Araña: i'm so happy for you friend. finally, finally, finally.
Vios: this is it bestie! slay na slay ka gurl! ahhhhh

*(All personnel kay mogawas sa curtains with tourist costumes)

Valde: That's her!
Araña: hala your jowa is a girl pala friend?
Valde: yes, friend, tomboy siya. ang pogi niya frienddd.
Vios: kung san ka happy friend, we are so proud of youu and we will support you as always oi.

Next scene: AT THE HOUSE

Valde: This is our house my love. Come in!

Acotanza as chismosong tambay: hala! bai, yung apo ni lola caong may jowa na afam!
Andog as chismosong tambay: talaga bai? asan na sila?
Acotanza: nasa loob ng bahay, tara, tignan natin!
Valde: This is my family, love.
Teves: Wow you have a big family love.
(Valde introduces her to everyone and she also taught her how to do the pagmamano)
Caong: Apo! babae ang iyong jowa?

Uncle Cabasag: let's eat guyyys!

(They all ate and they introduces Teves to all filipino cuisine like lechon and after eating they all
have fun by playing and dancing and Emo will present a balak)
