Sec. 9. Lot Surveys. Lot surveys, as part of the execution of the Cadastral Project, shall be
conducted utilizing Tertiary Precision as prescribed under DAO 2007-29 (Revised Land Survey
Regulations) to establish the lot boundaries between and among the lot claimants/owners.
For projects selected or designated as "Systematic Adjudication" areas by the DENR, procedures
set under DAO No. 2007-09 (Prescribing The Systematic Adjudication Process To Simplify,
Streamline And Fast Track The Disposition Of Public Alienable And Disposable Lands Through
Free And Homestead Patents) shall be observed and implemented.
Sec. 10. Integrated Approach in Surveying and Mapping. All private and public land claims
including forestland blocks boundaries, and government lands within cadastral projects, shall be
surveyed and delimited in accordance with DAO 2007-29.
Sec. 11. Forestland Boundary Demarcation and Delimitation. The delimitation of forestlands
shall be conducted in accordance with Sec. 8, DAO 2007-29 and Article 15, Sections 163 and
165 of DMC 2010-13.
Sec. 12. Mineral Land Surveys Within Cadastral Projects. Boundaries of mineral
reservations shall be marked using coilcrete monuments with specifications provided for under
P A 0 96-40 (IRR of the Mining Act of 1995) and surveyed with at least fourth order geodetic
control accuracy. The latitude and longitude of comer No. 1 of the block shall be inscribed at the
side of the monument.
Sec. 13. Transformation and Integration of Old Survey. The transformation and integration
of old surveys into PRS92 shall be conducted in accordance with DMC No. 2010-06 (Manual of
Procedures on the Transformation and Integration of Cadastral Data into PRS92). However,
partial transformation shall presently be effected only on the boundary of the approved survey
project concerned. Transformation and integration of individual lots within the approved survey
project shall be undertaken once the transformation parameters have been issued by the DENR.
Numbering of the resultant lots shall be in accordance with the traditional series. The original
numbers of those lots within previously approved projects (Cad, Pls, GSS, or the like) shall be
written below the new lot number and enclosed in a parenthesis. A footnote shall indicate the
original survey project number with the notation that the same has been transformed and
integrated into PRS92.
Sec.15. Survey Notification. Notices shall be sent to officials of the different political units
concerned before establishment of the political boundary monuments. A PBM Location
Acceptability Report is to be accomplished as required under Section 8 of this Circular.
