Office of the National Service Training Program

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We, Group 1 of NSTP CW-MA-26 from Batangas State University, TNEU - Pablo Borbon
Campus, will carry out an 9-session community service project named "Juan Knowledge" in
Barangay 23 of Batangas City with the goal of increasing the knowledge of children aged 3 to 5
and improving the environment via a community clean-up movement. After all of the costs for
the activities, tutorials, clean-up drive, and emergency fund were added together, our budget
proposal amounted to 14,060.00 pesos. Following that, it is calculated that our group of 19
persons will contribute Php 740.00 per person in order for our community service to be
conducted. Whereas, the contribution will be split into two equal payments: the first collection
will be on March 08, 2023, with Php 370.00 given as the first payment before the session begins,
and the second collection will be on April 01, 2023, with Php 370.00 given again in Week 3 of
the project.
The total contribution includes the following expenses:
1. Instructional Materials that will be utilized during the effectiveness of our program, which
include learning materials such as chalk, play money, and others.
2. School Supplies and Hygiene Kits that will be given to the participants at the end of our
program as a gesture of our appreciation.
3. Session Essentials such as alcohol, face masks, tissues, disposable cups, paper cups (for
food containers), disposable sporks, and other supplies, will be used at every session as an
everyday supply to cater the needs of our participants.
4. Community Needs such as paints, trash cans, a broom, waste bags, a mantel, and others,
will be used to enhance and develop the community, particularly the barangay's kitchen.
5. Awards and Prizes will be given to the outstanding participants and to those with special
awards.
6. Lastly, Emergency Fund will act as our cash reserve for unanticipated or unforeseen costs,
so rather than making another contribution, we will use this fund to cover the unplanned
expenditure.

We are anticipating your utmost support with the provided expense breakdown. We sincerely
acknowledge and thank you for your cooperation.
