of uncovering its underlying
meaning, themes, and cultural
significance.

The term "narrative research" has a fairly broad definition
and can refer to a variety of research methods that are
centered on gathering and utilizing narratives.
A more focused method of looking at an individual’s life
experiences is called narrative inquiry

Narrative analysis can be used in many fields, including


literature, psychology, sociology, and anthropology. It can
help us understand how people make sense of their
experiences, how cultural beliefs and values are transmitted,
and how power relations are established and maintained
through stories.
This is a restricted story about one specific moment
in time with a plot, characters, and setting, but
doesn’t encompass the entirety of a person’s life.
