Notes & Details

The meeting was called to order at exactly 8:00 AM and was recorded from 8:10 AM
to 11:12 AM (2 hours, 51 minutes, and 57 seconds in total).
In the conduct of the preliminaries; Lanz Andrei Colico led the opening prayer, the
assistant secretary of the class, Jomarie Esguerra, took charge in the taking of
attendance, and France Laurie Bernardez from Group 7 presented the minutes of the
meeting to the class.
Dr. Bonsol first established the virtual classroom atmosphere by asking about the
class' condition (more directed on health-wise matters since the TUP College of
Science declared several positive cases of COVID influencing the actions of the
university involving the temporary discouragement of campus operations having direct
physical contact), sharing sentiments, and explaining certain means that contributed to
everyone's awareness and information.
The said memorandum is entitled "Class Modality and Alternative Work
Arrangement Scheme from May 02-15, 2023 in Manila Campus" which was issued
by the University Student Government on May 01, 2023.
Sean Kurt Buenaflor, the class president, facilitated the flow of the reporting in the aid
of helping our professor to grade each presenter with ease given the respective
heightened criteria.
The progress of the reporting left off at Group 2's presentation with regards to the
previous meeting which was about the Varieties and Registers of Spoken and Written
Language wherein Ray Adrian Butlay and John Euclid Agustin presented the first
parts.
It continued with Maria Angela Dayawon about the remaining information about
Register then on with the succeeding reporters.
Groups 2 to 5 were able to execute their presentations on the topics; Varieties and
Registers of Spoken and Written Language, Evaluating Messages and/or Images of
Different Types of Texts Reflecting Different Cultures, Communication Aids and
Strategies using Tools of Technology / Use of Technology: The e-PARADIGM, and
Communication for Various Purposes respectively in order.
The last reporter included with the time frame was Hanz Joshua Ancuna with his part,
the Five Purposes of Communication that we use everyday.
Consequently, Dr. Bonsol left some concluding remarks such as congratulating the
reporters, explaining further how we can better ourselves in doing presentations
through learned communication skills, apologizing for the slight class time extension,
and bid the class 'God bless' leaving a positive vibe before dismissal.
The online meeting ended at 11:01 AM, 1 minute longer than the prescribed time for
discussion.
