SYNOPSIS: As a young man, Ben Carson did not have many


opportunities. He grew up in a poor home and faced prejudices, his
grades suffered and his temperament shone. And still, his mother never
lost faith in him. Insisting that he follow the opportunities that were
presented to him, it helped him to grow his imagination, intelligence and
most importantly, to believe in himself. That faith would be his blessing,
which would make him pursue his dream of becoming one of the most
important neurosurgeons in the world.
