REPORT ON FIRE DRILL CONDUCTED BY THE BARANAGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION

MANAGEMENT COUNCIL OF BARANGAY PAITAN

I. INTRODUCTION AND DRILL SCENARIO

In line with the campaign of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council
in equipping the Barangay with the knowledge, proper attitude and skills on what to do in case
of a natural and man-made disaster like fire, Barangay Paitan together with the assistance of
Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Sta. Maria conducted fire drill in the barangay on June 10, 2022
at exactly 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon for fire drills. The drill was carried out simultaneously
and smoothly.

II. ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED PRIOR TO THE CONDUCT ON FIRE DRILL

Some of the activities held prior to the conduct of the fire drill are as follows;

A. Constant reminders given by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) on the safety
precautions and measures in case of disaster like fire.
B. Discussion and simulation of the do’s and don’ts during fire
C. Demonstrations of repairing survival kit under the supervision of Bureau of Fire
Protection Sta. Maria
D. Orientation on the evacuation plan and safe and dander zones.
