PROCEDURE FOR ACS-1000 START UP

1. Switch ON 110V DC supply in MV panel.

2. Switch ON 415V Aux. supply in MCC-4,1R5 feeder for Pump, Aux. Fan and Control Trafo.

3. Switch ON all the MPCB’s in MV drive.

4. Put Ground Isolator switch in open (Unlocked) position. Both Unlocked and Offline indication

will glow.

5. Check the indication lamp of ground switch (not glow).

6. Check whether Raw water circulation is available or not. Maintain the Raw water temperature

as per the mentioned value.

45 °C = Alarm

48 °C = Trip

7. Check all the Transformer relays are in healthy (Bucholz, Wdg temp.Oil temp).

8. Put the VCB in Service position.

9. Check whether line & Delta contactors are in ON and Star contactor should be OFF condition

in COP (Change over panel).

10. Check the conductivity value in CDP and must be below 0.3µs.

11. Release the Emergency stop in field and MV drive panel.

12. Now Reset 86 master trip relay in MV panel.

13. Switch ON VCB (Trafo) by pressing ONLINE button from MV drive.

14. Keep CDP in remote mode to operate from CCR.

15. To operate from panel, put CDP in Local mode.

16. If all the above conditions are satisfied, press the reset button in CDP (MV drive).

NOTE:

 Ground isolator switch should be operate when 110V DC is ‘ON’ in MV Panel only the same

time HT 6.6 kV breaker should be ‘OFF’ Position.

 There is no option to start the motor/drive in Local LPB.
