Dijalog Nikola: Zdravo, Dejane! Kako si?

Dejan: Zdravo Nikola! Nije loše, a ti?
seminarski rad.

Nikola: Ne, treniram vaterpolo. A ti? Baviš li se ti nekim sportom?
Dejan: Ja treniram plivanje. Šta misliš, da odemo nekad u bazen zajedno?
Nikola: Odlična ideja! Predlažem već za ovaj vikend. Da li ti odgovara?
Dejan: Sasvim mi odgovara.
Nikola: Onda, dogovoreno! Čujemo se telefonom i vidimo se!
Dejan: Važi, vidimo se!

Dialogue Nikola: Hello, Dejan! How are you?

Dejan: Hi Nikola! Not bad you?
Nikola: Thank you, I'm fine, but I'm always in a big crowd and I don't get anything done.
Dejan: Why are you so busy?
Nikola: What can I tell you... First of all, I'm busy at the fa cult.
Now I'm in my second year of studies, I have a lot of lectures, and I'm also writing a
serious seminar paper.
Dejan: And what do you do in your spare time?
Nikola: The problem is that I don't have free time. I read a little, sometimes I go out with
friends to a cafe or a cinema and that's all.
Dejan: Do you do any sports?
Nikola: Twice a week I go to the pool for training.
Dejan: Do you practice swimming?
Nikola: No, I practice water polo. And you? Do you do any sports?
Dejan: I practice swimming. How about we go to the pool together sometime?
Nikola: Great idea! I suggest already for this weekend. Does that work for you?
Dejan: It suits me perfectly.
Nikola: Then, agreed! We'll talk on the phone and see each other!
Dejan: OK, see you soon!

novcem i odlazi u samoposlugu pored kuće. U samoposluzi Ljubica uzima kolica i
počinje da kupuje neophodne namirnice. Kao prvo u kolica stavlja dve vekne hleba i vruće
pecivo: kifle, đevrek i pogačice.
U kolica
stavlja dva litra mleka, jogurt, pavlaku, kačkavalj i kajmak. Posle toga ona kupuje
zube.
tamo voće i povrće uvek domaće i sveže. Na kraju Ljubica gura kolica na kasu gde plaća
svoju ku- povinu. Odeću i obuću Ljubica obično kupuje u velikim tržnim centrima gde se
može naći sve — od igle do lokomotive.

In the store

Clean account, long love. 1 Serbian proverb

Ljubica is getting ready to go shopping today. She puts a wallet with money in her bag
and goes to the supermarket next to the house. In the supermarket, Ljubica takes a cart
and starts buying the necessary groceries. First of all, he puts two loaves of bread and
hot pastries in the cart: buns, bagels and scones. Ljubica wants to make gibnica for
dinner, so she buys pie crusts and cottage cheese. Then Ljubica goes to choose dairy
products. He puts two liters of milk, yogurt, sour cream, cheese and cream in the cart.
After that, she buys a kilogram of ground meat for stuffed steaks and various cured meat
products: sausages, ham, hot dogs. For the children, she takes sweets — chocolates,
candies, jelly candies, biscuits.
Ljubica goes to buy some hygiene products — soap, hair shampoo, toothpaste. Ljubica
needs to buy fruits and vegetables. He wants to go to the market to get those foods,
because there the fruits and vegetables are always local and fresh. At the end, Ljubica
pushes the cart to the cash register where she pays for her purchases. Ljubica usually
buys clothes and shoes in large shopping centers where you can find everything from
needles to locomotives.

Audio 4 (Odlazak u bioskop )

Nije zlato sve što sija.1 Srpska poslovica

Nikola i Zorica večeras idu u bioskop. Žele da gledaju novi film Emira Kusturice „Zavet“.
Film počinje u osam sati uveče. Drugari se sastaju u pola osam u centru grada ispred
bioskopa „Balkan“.
Nikola: Zdravo, Zorice! Izvini što malo kasnim. Velika je gužva u saobraćaju.
Zorica: Zdravo! Nema veze. Imamo još dvadeset pet mi nuta do početka filma.
Nikola: Mnogo je sveta ispred bioskopa. Nadam se da ima karata.
Zorica: I ja se nadam. Hajde da zauzmemo red!
Nikola: Hajde, idemo!
njegove komedije „Crna mačka, beli mačor“ i „Jagoda u supermarketu“. A tebi?

Zorica: A meni se više dopadaju „Otac na službenom putu“ i „Podzemlje“. Za ta dva filma
mu je dodeljena „Zlatna palma“ Kanskog festivala.
Nikola: Da, to znam. U štampi najavljuju da sada Kusturica počinje da snima film „Na
Drini ćuprija“ po romanu našeg nobelovca Ive Andrića. Čini mi se čak da je to film- ska
opera.
Zorica: Stvarno? To prvi put čujem!
Dostojevskog. On želi da snimi film po romanu „Braća Karamazovi“.
Zorica: Zanimljivo. Meni se mnogo sviđa film o fudbaleru Dijegu Maradoni, a tebi?
Nikola: I meni se sviđa! To je stvarno odličan film! Imam ga na kaseti.
Zorica: Kusturica se još bavi i muzikom. Svira gitaru u grupi „The No Smoking
Orchestra“. Da li ti se sviđa ta grupa?
Nikola: Da, sviđa mi se takva vrsta muzike. Želim da idem na koncert ove jeseni. Možemo
da idemo zajedno, ako hoćeš.
Zorica: Što da ne! Hoću da čujem tu muziku uživo! Još vredi da se vidi i njegovo čuveno
selo u blizini Užica.
Nikola: Da, zaista. Kažu da je to nezaboravan doživljaj!

Going to the cinema

All that shines is not gold.1 Serbian proverb

Nikola and Zorica are going to the cinema tonight. They want to watch Emir Kusturica's
new film "Vow". The movie starts at eight o'clock in the evening. Friends meet at half past
eight in the city center in front of the "Balkan" cinema.
Nikola: Hello, Zorica! Sorry to be a little late. There is a big traffic jam.
Zorica: Hello! Does not matter. We still have twenty-five minutes until the movie starts.
Nikola: There is a lot of light in front of the cinema. I hope there are tickets.
Zorica: I hope so too. Let's get in line!
Nikola: Come on, let's go! Do you know anything about this movie?
Zorica: I don't know much about him, but I believe he is good. Kusturica is a genius
director!
Nikola: Yes, he is really very popular here and all over the world. I like his comedies "Black
Cat, White Cat" and "Strawberry in the Supermarket". And you?

Zorica: And I like "Father on a business trip" and "Podzemlje" more. For those two films,
he was awarded the "Golden Palm" at the Cannes Festival.
Nikola: Yes, I know that. They announce in the press that Kusturica is now starting to
shoot the film "On the Drina Bridge" based on the novel by our Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić.
It even seems to me that it is a film opera.
Zorica: Really? I'm hearing that for the first time!
Nikola: It is written on the Internet that Kusturica appreciates the work of Fyodor
Mihajlovich Dostoyevsky. He wants to make a film based on the novel "The Brothers
Karamazov".
Zorica: Interesting. I really like the movie about football player Diego Maradona, what
about you? Nikola: I like it too! It's a really great movie! I have it on tape.
Zorica: Kusturica is also involved in music. He plays guitar in the group "The No
Smoking Orchestra". Do you like that group?
Nikola: Yes, I like that kind of music. I want to go to a concert this fall. We can go
together, if you want.
Zorica: Why not! I want to hear that music live! Its famous village near Užice is also worth
seeing.
Nikola: Yes, indeed. They say it's an unforgettable experience!
