Matter is important because it makes up everything around us and matter cannot be created or destroyed
but instead, they just transformed into a different form. Just like in teaching, we aim to transform the learning
into a better form so they can be equipped and become a lifelong learner.

INTRODUCTION PHASE

I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to:
 Classify matter according to its physical state and chemical composition.
 Describe elements, compounds, and mixtures.
 Classify matter as pure substances or mixtures.

 Recall the topic that was discussed recently.

 The teacher will use differentiated instruction where the students should classify matter. Active
learning strategies in facilitating the students learning process.

1. Why are mixtures important in our daily life?
