PURPOSE
This assignment aims to enhance the learner’s ability to analyse the cultural and
political environment affecting international business.

REQUIREMENT
Select an international firm in Vietnam. Using the firm as an example, discuss the
common features of culture from the international business perspective and analyse
the basic elements of culture that is important in international business. Suggest steps
that can be taken to overcome challenges in cultural differences in your selected firm.

With the present critical post-pandemic situation, what are the implications of the
situation in Vietnam on the businesses of international companies within and outside
Vietnam? Discuss.
