CONTINGENCY PLANNING FOR COVID 19

1. To further strengthen and intensify the mechanisms on Disaster Risk

Reduction and Management (DRRM) amidst COVID 19 pandemic and the natural
and human-induced hazards which the Philippines is facing right now, the Division
Office through the SMN-DRRM shall conduct a contingency planning on November
9-11, 2020 from 1:30-4:30 pm via Google Meet using meeting ID:
meet.google.com/abj-ffzb-sgj

3. At the end of the activity, participants are expected to support their

respective AOR in the development and enhancement of contingency plans and
shall be equipped to capacitate other DepEd Personnel. They specifically shall be
able to:

a. understand and apply the process of formulating a Contingency Plan

that is responsive to the needs that will surface in worst case scenarios;

b. develop and enhance a contingency plan for natural and human-

induced hazards and COVID 19 pandemic; and

c. devise an appropriate design in cascading the ConPlan to other

DepEd and school personnel.

4. Anent this, these identified trainers are directed to report to the Division
Office on November 3, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. for a meeting in preparation for the
activity.

5. Communication expenses of the participants shall be chargeable against
