To secure a clean environment, pollution free surroundings, promoting and adopting an


environmentally friendly school, Tañong High School initiate a clean-up drive with the support
of the Principal of the school Mr. Antonio Andres, School Teachers and help with the
Volunteers, Different Club Officers and the SSG Officers was successfully done on November
12, 2022.

The Clean-up Drive was introduced to the students and encouraged adoption of practices like
recycling, that can have a profound effect on waste management in the community. A clean-up
drive can also bring about a sense of community and responsibility to keep our school and
common areas safe and clean. Visible results might lead to a heightened interest and
involvement among community members in reducing garbage and the food waste, and
preserving the environment.

This activity, truly signifies the importance of partnership in creating a conducive learning
environment for the learners and in the community.
