1. Translation as a process: focuses on the role

of the translator in taking the source text (ST)
and turning it into a text in another language
(the target text, TT).

2. Translation as a product: refers to the

concrete translation product produced by the
translator.
 Why is it important?
Only about 10% of people in the world speak English. There exists a large opportunity
to reach out to markets other than the English- speaking ones, with the help of
translation services

The main and major role of language translation services, we can see in business
