Lesson Title: Good eating habits and behavior

Objectives:
1. The learners distinguish healthful from less healthful food
2. Tells the consequences of eating less healthful foods
3. Practice good decision making exhibited in eating habit that can help one become healthy

Non digital instructional materials: Food pyramid


Materials that will use: Printed pictures of food, carton, cartolina, plastic cover, popsicle sticks,
tape, yarn, glue stick, markers and scissor.

Narrative on using instructional materials:


There is still a significant role for non-digital materials in the modern world, particularly
as backup resources for usage in the event of a power outage. In this lesson, students will not
only learn about the food pyramid through an image, but they will also have a chance to label an
actual food pyramid.
Non-digital materials would be manipulatives in the classroom. These are concrete
examples students can use to help with learning. Examples include building blocks for Math
learning, and science equipment for science class. These are very helpful for facilitating learning
since in the classroom students learn in many different ways.
Since we are student centered, non-digital is more helpful to integrate the topic, and also
it helps the student to participate more likely, because we are using different activities and

pictures on board etc.

Materials that will use: Television, laptop, and speaker

Narrative on using instructional materials:


We will be utilizing a digital tool called PowerPoint to present information about the food
pyramid. Each slide will focus on a specific aspect of the food pyramid, accompanied by relevant
images of various foods. The students will be engaged by examining the images and
distinguishing between healthy and unhealthy food options.
To ensure that the students retain the information about the food pyramid and participate
in class activities, we will use a digital tool such as a PowerPoint presentation and include a food
pyramid-related video clip as an example.
PowerPoint presentation is easy and convenient for making lessons more interactive this
tool allows to integrate different types of fun activities that will coordinate to faster and better
learning in the classroom wherein it will be fun for the whole class because students can interact
with each other and watch a neat visual presentation.
