Dedication of the Temple

“O Lord, God of Israel, God of the Philippines and God of Jesus Is Alive Community Makati
there is no God like you in all of heaven above or on the earth below.

Last year You instructed us through Your servant Ate Nellie Romey in
Isaiah 54:2
"Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations: spare
not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes."

We being leaders and ministers of JIA Makati were so excited with faith…
And our lips were filled with praise and thanksgiving after hearing these words.

For we have found that You are the promise-keeping God and that You show unfailing love to
all who walk before You in wholehearted devotion.

And now today, we are standing before you in this place- on the 7th floor of Timstate Building-
as testimony of Your goodness and grace.

Listen to our prayer and our plea, O Lord our God. Hear the cry and the prayers that your
servants are making to You today.

May You watch over this Sanctuary night and day…this place where Your presence will dwell
and will manifest.

May you always hear the prayers we will utter ( individually and as a group) inside this place.

May you hear the humble and earnest requests from us your people when we pray toward this
place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and forgive our sins as we repent.
May this place be a haven of rest for weary souls, mind and body.
A place where disputes will be settled…enemies will be reconciled.
A place where physical and emotional healing would take place.
A place of forgiveness whenever somebody is overcome by sin…
A place of refuge and encouragement as one of us is being oppressed and depressed by the
enemy.
A place where one lost soul will find salvation and assurance for his restless soul.
A place of love, care, unity and maturity as we gather and fellowship with one another.

DEDICATION OF PEOPLE
Father since from the very beginning You are seeking for true worshippers who will worship you
in spirit and in truth.

Now Lord, we are Your people redeemed by the blood of Your Son Jesus. Standing here today
dedicating ourselves to love and serve You from here on to the rest of our lives.

Teach us to follow the right and narrow gate for wide is the gate towards destruction.

Keep us from evil for the thief comes to steal , to kill and to destroy.
But Jesus Christ came to give us life- an abundant life.
So, keep us from famine, plague, disease, troubles, untimely death.

Give your people what their actions deserve, for you alone know each human heart.
Then they will fear/respect You as long as they live.
Bless us to be the light and salt of the people around us so that people may come to know and
fear You and be reconciled through Your lovingkindness.

May we bring glory and honor to Your Name whether we eat or drink.
Bless us in the city… bless us in the country…bless us wherever You want us to go.
May we be merciful as You are merciful.
We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, holy nation, a peculiar people.
We will show forth the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
